About I grew up in Humble, Texas. My parents always described me as curious and inquisitive kid, with a flair for adventure. It is probably safe to say that since childhood I have developed a passion for “geek” stuff – science, mechanics, and technology gadgets. And, as a trained accountant and lawyer, I appreciate the importance of certain principles and a rule of law. With these characteristics and traits engrained as my foundation, I introduce you to a world that most people on the planet will never experience and to my love of underwater photography. More than 70% of the earth’s surface is water. A fascinating and intriguing world exists within these oceans, rivers, and lakes. My natural curiosity took me to this place, but it is the beauty and comfort of our underworld’s peace and balance that keeps me there. It is also the appreciation of and respect for a vibrant ecosystem that is often abused and misunderstood that fuels my passion for underwater photography, as well as the recognition of a perfect coexistence of millions of different life forms all literally “feeding” off of each other (that rule of law concept in action!). I hope you immerse yourself in the images of this unique underworld to see what I see; the aesthetic and rhythmic beauty of the underwater world’s coral gardens and creatures, both predators and prey – all welcoming of my presence and in perfect balance.
